    “Wer einen ruhigen Ort für einen entspannten Urlaub sucht, ist im Juni und Juli in Artatore gut aufgehoben. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt mit freundlichem Personal, drei Lokale mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten und eine kleine Strandbar mit Kaltgetränken und frisch zubereiteten Smoothies. Uns gefiel das gut. Baden kann man überall, allerdings besser nicht ohne Badeschuhe. Wir verzichten aber gerne auf Sandstrand und genießen lieber das wunderbar klare Wasser.
    Im 6 Kilometer entfernten Mali Losinj ist jede Menge los. Dort gibt es ein vielfältiges Angebot an Restaurants und verschiedene Einkaufsmöglicheiten. Alles liegt rund um den hübschen Hafen, von dem aus man auch tolle Bootsausflüge zum Baden und Schnorcheln unternehmen kann. Doch nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag wieder in das beschauliche Artatore zurück zu kommen, war für uns genau das Richtige.
    Die Gegend um Artatore will entdeckt werden. Es gibt Olivenhaine und malerische Strände. Die Beschilderung ist verbesserungswürdig. Der kleine Flughafen Mali Losinj ist jedoch ein guter Orientierungspunkt. Er liegt unweit von Artatore. Dort starten und landen kleinere Propellerflugzeuge. Uns hat das zu keiner Zeit gestört. Man soll dort auch Rundflüge über die Inseln machen können.”
