In the many fishing rivers and lakes trout swim without knowing that you are standing on the shore with your rod (fishing license required). In addition, there are many great routes for hiking and biking; here every member of the family will find a suitable route.
At winter time you can take up the challenge of the downhill slopes at Uvdal Alpinsenter; there you will surely find a slope that suits your skills and level. Or set out on the prepared cross-country trails for shorter or longer tours through the unique high mountains. Otherwise, you can also try ice fishing, dog sledding, winter paintball and snow kiting here. In the evening, cups of hot chocolate and the board games are on the table.
