Luxury villa offering own swimming pool, sauna and wine cellar

The former garden house of a noble palace, has been thoroughly renovated under the direction of Architect Professor Walter Angonese and the artist Manfred Alois Mayr, responsible for the artistic design, following strict ecological- and energy standards.Heart of the completely renovated villa is the spacious dining- and living area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the beautiful terrace. One bedroom with ensuite shower bathroom and an extra guest bathroom are also on this floor.On the upper floor there are two further double bedrooms, two shower bathrooms and a livingroom which can be used as extra double bedroom. A sunny south-facing balcony, and a wonderfully cool north balcony give you some private atmosphere on this floor.An additional spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower bathroom and outside sitting area is located next to the spa area. You can relax in the sauna, which can be used as Fin- and Bio Sauna.In one of the most famous wine regions of Italy a private wine cellar cannot be missing. Here you can party and enjoy a variety of local fine red- and white wines.The villa is surrounded by a beautiful biodiverse Mediterranean garden with sun beds, open barbecue and herb garden. Take some herbs and use them for your home cooked meals. The highlight of the outdoor area is the infinity-pool fitted with an environmentally friendly, chlorine-free salt water electrolysis cleaning system.Your skin will be thankful for the soft natural water. Of course, the house offers all the amenities of modern living: high-quality design furniture (Plank, Rossin, Flos, Roberti Rattan) combined with local materials and traditional craftsmanship, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, WLAN, flat - screen TV, fireplace, air conditioning, outdoor grill, cot, bath towels and robe etc.Dogs are allowed.The Villa can accommodate on 300m² 8 - 10 people and offers 3 car parking spaces in our own car park.The Villa is only a short walk from the centre of the historic wine village Kaltern.Various shops, restaurants, bars, an ice cream parlour, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, wine shop and public bus station can be reached in 2-3 minutes. Still, you live in full privacy.Kaltern/Caldaro is in South Tyrol, an area where Tyrolean and Italian culture meet. It is a land of scenic extremes. Once harsh and barren, with the Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage), where the mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner earned his spurs, and the eternal ice, where the 5000-year-old glacier mummy "Ötzi The Iceman" was found. Then, on the other hand in the south lovely, Mediterranean, with palm trees, cypresses, strawberry trees and even passion flowers, "where a gentle mild air fills the area," as Goethe already noted in 1786.The hilly landscape in the south is dominated by picturesque wine villages, imposing castles, numerous historic residences.
