This beautiful cottage with a cosy wood-burning fireplace in the living room invites you to enjoy a wonderful holiday. The conservatory has large windows overlooking the garden and there is also a beautiful, open terrace. The annex near the house offers additional accommodations. The garden is equipped with a play tower, a climbing wall and a playhouse for your children. The Høve beach, with a life-guard station, is located just 1300 metres away from the house and has been awarded the blue flag. Odsherred has a unique geological structure and is a UNESCO designated Geopark. The region is one of the largest hilly areas in Denmark, a region that is dominated by forests, beaches and the cliffs of the Sejerø bay. The whole area is dominated by glacial terrain and an impressive moraine. Vejrhøj has an altitude of 121 metres and is the third highest peak on Zealand. Standing on the peak you can, in good weather, see all the 27 churches, including the Cathedral of Roskilde. It is said that at the foot of Vejrhøj lives a dragon which guards fabulously huge golden eggs. The very tip of Ordrup Næs is called Næbbet. It is a nature reserve with relics dating back to the Stone Age. The coast along the Bay of Sejerø is blessed with many sandy beaches. Many of them are child friendly. Explore the peninsula on a bike (especially a MTB) and experience a great holiday. In Ordrup you will find small, cosy cafes and shops. In the restaurant at Dragsholm Castle tasty dishes are prepared using their own, biologically produced ingredients. The amusement park Sommerland Sjælland, the charming Rørvig and the galleries of Nykøbing are also worth visiting. From Havnsø there are ferries to the islands of Sejerø and Nekselø. In Sejerø you will find a beautiful natural landscape, megalithic tombs and a church with frescoes. The island of Nekselø offers a unique birdlife and excellent fishing grounds.
