Holiday on a riding farm with a range of recreational possibilities

The cosy holiday apartment is on a historical three-sided farm from the 19th century, in an idyllic hamlet in the Frankenjura at the foot of Ossinger and at the threshold to the Hirschbachtal.

The accommodation is a ground-floor apartment of around 55m² with heating throughout, accessed up a few steps. The living space comprises a living room with a separated cooking and dining space, a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a large double bed (200cm wide) and there is also a pull-out sofa bed for two people (180 x 190cm) in the living room. Behind a half-height separating wall, there are the cosy dining corner and fully-equipped, modern kitchen. A highchair can be provided free of charge, subject to availability. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, hairdryer and toilet. A telephone, a safe and an LED flatscreen TV are provided. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the accommodation. You can give laundry to the laundry service in the main house, each washing machine or dryer load is charged €5.00.

The old farmhouse, which was converted into a guesthouse in 2010, offers a whirlpool outdoors, for use free of charge, shared with the other holiday guests. There is also a sauna for shared use. Two people pay a fee of €15.00 per sauna visit, each further person pays €5.00. In the garden area there is also a communal terrace with a grill. Sociable grill evenings can be arranged at a small supplementary charge. Alternatively, you can treat yourself at the adjoining restaurant with a vaulted cellar. Children can play at the playground or in the playing barn with a boulder wall, slackline, table tennis table, minigolf and table football. If you would like sport and exercise, there is a multifunctional fitness bench in the shared area free of charge. The site has a free parking area with 14 outdoor parking spaces, which you can use subject to availability. Horse lovers can look forward to a well-maintained riding facility right on the farm site.

You can take your dogs with you on holiday (first per free, each further pet €5.00 per day), as well as your own horse. For a small fee of €15.00 per day, your horse is accommodated optimally in the stables. Please note that the site is not fully enclosed.

Everyday shops such as a baker, butcher and grocery shop are about 2km away. Your holiday accommodation offers riding and therapeutic riding, as well as many original recreational activities, such as a 3D archery circuit in the forest, bow-making courses, climbing trips, cave expeditions, canoe trips, mountain bike tours, guided tours in nature etc. It is possible to arrange a walk to a farmer who can offer tasty pizza from the wood-burning oven. These attractive recreational options cost a small supplementary fee. As a special adventure for the whole family, it is recommended to spend a night in the hay, which is free for holiday apartment guests. On certain days you can also take part free of charge in a sauna evening or archery circuit.
