Pleasant House in Zlarin with Private Parking and Panoramic Views

This romantic holiday house is located close to the sea on the Croatian island of Zlarin - there are no cars on the green island which is known as a pure ecological zone and peaceful retreat for those who want to escape from the noise of the city. The fully detached holiday house is tucked away in a large Mediterranean garden, which makes it a true retreat - complete privacy is guaranteed. Yet the location of the house is within walking distance (cca 10 min walk from the house) to the center of Zlarin.Zlarin is a small, charming place where all the major destinations (ferry port, shops, beaches, a medical clinic, restaurants, cafes, bars etc.) are located within a short walking distance - so you will not miss your car at all.Luggage is transported by electric golf carts and arranged by the owner.Fully detached holiday house nestled in a Mediterranean garden, with a summer kitchen and panoramic sea views from the private, sunny terrace

The property consists of separate buildings and terraces that are linked into a whole as a unique architectural solution that is reminiscent of a small hacienda.- The house is well thought and well equipped- The property consists of several separate buildings and terraces linked into a whole- The main house is 51 square meters in size. It consists of 2 bedrooms, small living room with a winter kitchenette and the bathroom.- The third bedroom is located next to the house in a separate building of 13 square meters in size , it is equipped with toilet and outdoor shower.- another separate small building is fully equiped summer kitchen overlooking the main terrace with big outdoor dining tableThe set-up of separate (from the main house ) bedroom and bathroom means that if two small families or couples are holidaying together and they want a bit of space and privacy, this is ideal.The main house has high ceilings (2.2 to 3.5 m). They are asymmetrically vaulted, decorated with wooden beams and equipped with large ceiling fans, if you don't like air conditioning. There is an air conditioner which can also be used for heating.

The property is located slightly uphill and offers panoramic views of the sea and archipelago. The plot around the house is 1200 m², with different kinds of trees, herbs and fresh, fragrant spices. The house is especially proud of its 100 m² large terraces, which offer an astonishing open view of the sea and the surrounding islands. And one covered terraces features a long table that sits up to ten people. In addition to the kitchen inside the main house, a really pretty and fully equipped summer kitchen is located in a separate stone building next to the main house. It features a large window overlooking the main terrace and the sea. Also there is a big BBQ area complete with an outdoor stone sink.

How to get to the house: You need to get to the town of Sibenik first and from there it is easy to get to the island of Zlarin. The landlord or a representative will wait for you at the boat in Zlarin and bring you to the house. The transfer is included in the price. Ferries run from Sibenik to Zlarin several times a day and the journey takes just 25 minutes. There is also a taxi boat which gets you from Zlarin to Sibenik in just 10 minutes, at any time of the day or night. If you arrive by car, you can hire a safe parking place in Sibenik (at additional cost), the landlord can arrange this for you. For those who need a parking space, upon your arrival to Sibenik, the landlord will wait for you and help you board your ship to Zlarin. If you travel by plane: There are two airports nearby Sibenik: Split Airport approx. 60 km away by highway from Sibenik. Zadar Airport: 85 km from Sibenik. The landlord can arrange an airport shuttle for you (at an additional cost). Also, a bus and a taxi service are available from both airports.

The island of Zlarin is approximately 3.5 nautical miles away from Sibenik (7 km). The island is very well connected to the mainland by ferries which run from Sibenik to Zlarin several times a day (the journey takes just 25 minutes) and from the town of Vodice as well.

    “Sehr empfehlenswert - wir kommen gerne wieder. Positiv: Traumhaftes Haus mit grosser Terrasse; sehr praktisch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wunderschöne Aussicht und Umgebung. Danica ist eine äusserst umsichtige, warmherzige und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Organisation war perfekt. Restaurant: Prslika - Exquisites Fischrestaurant; guter Wein; wunderschöner Garten mit Olivenbäumen; perfekter Service.”

    “Wir waren zu dritt mit unseren beiden Hunden da und sind immernoch überwältigt von unserem Aufenthalt. Es war genau, was wir suchten und wir kommen definitiv wieder. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt. Ruhig gelegen mitten im Grünen mit atemberaubendem Blick auf das Meer. Die Hunde hatten viel Platz zum Spielen und entdecken. Keine Wünsche blieben offen. Dasha ist eine wirklich wundervolle und herzliche Gastgerberin. Die Insel ist unbeschreiblich schön. Für Naturliebhaber, die Lust haben dem Alltag zu entfliehen ist diese Unterkunft auf dieser Insel einfach die beste Wahl. Denn man fühlt sich hier wirklich schnell zu Hause. Danke für die unvergessliche Zeit.”

    “Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Sommerküche ist ideal, um selbst zu kochen. Es gibt neben dem Haupthaus ein kleines Nebengebäude, in dem unsere Teenager ungestört und sogar mit eigenem Bad wohnen konnten.
    Die Außendusche verschaffte Abkühlung bei sehr großer Hitze und im Haus halfen dabei die Klimaanlagen und Deckenventilatoren.
    Die Terasse mit dem Blick auf´s Meer ist phantastisch und es gibt noch viele weitere Plätze, wo man sich gerne aufhält.
    Wir wurden von der Vermieterin sehr herzlich empfangen und die ganze Zeit über hatte Sie für alle Fragen ein offenes Ohr. Vielen Dank!”

    “Oh La La! This vacation property fit our needs perfectly. A main house with 2 bedrooms for the family as well as a granny annex available. Our teenagers opted for the granny annex. Both have air conditioning.
    The hanging mat, the outdoor shower, the herb / lavender / olive garden enhanced this place. But the star of this property is the outdoor kitchen. Something so unique with the most gorgeous views out over the island and sea. We spent all our time around that table.

    Dasha, our hostess, was simply lovely. From the first contact, we were well informed about the possibilities on how to get to Zlarin, where to eat and surrounding attractions.”
