This charming country house dating back to the 15th century and set near the characteristic village Vacone (800 m), in the province of Rieti (Rieti 31 km), belongs to a noble family from Tuscany and was once a hunting lodge. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the first mountains of the Apennines. At guests' disposal there is a small circular above ground pool and a playground for children with a slide and a playhouse. In the garden are also available a covered terrace for outdoor dining, barbecue and a pergola. Surrounded by the scents and tastes of the past, you can easily forget the stress of everyday life here. The location is ideal for making excursions to the numerous archaeological sites, medieval monasteries and picturesque hilltop towns in the green countryside of the Sabina region - a region of Central Italy in the border country of Lazio, Abruzzo and Umbria. Recommended excursions: Vescovio Abbey (6 km), Farfa Abbey (18 km), Sacro speco of Narni (10 km) and much more. The house comprises a large living room with characteristic beam ceiling and fireplace, lounge and dining room with adjoining kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom. On the upper floor there is a small living room with TV and reading room. On the first floor is a characteristic living room with original cotto-floors, fireplace and small cooking corner. Here is also a large bedroom with adjoining bathroom. In the tower, on the second floor, is another bedroom with two beds and bathroom.
