ISLAND KRK

-Enjoy the Mediterranean flavour of this recently renovated 200 year-old stone house. The property is peaceful and serene, surrounded by trees, and only a short walk from the old town of Omisalj, and 800 metres from the sea.
The main floor is open-concept with lots of natural light. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. There is an additional full bathroom downstairs.

Amenities:

- AC throughout, floor heating, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, electric stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, 6 sets of dishes, cutlery, pots, salad bowl, wine decanter, etc.).

- Free interrnet access, satellite TV, DVD player, DVDs

- Small book collection in English/German/French/Croatian

- Travel guides for the area (Lonely Planet etc.), home-made brochure about Krk (compiled by long-time visitors and locals)

Outside:

Enjoy your breakfast on the terrace, with shade provided by the stone hedge and a grapevine canopy. In the evening, turn the same terrace into a dining area. Prepare local fish on the barbecue, and pair it with one of Croatia’s most loved white wines, from vineyards around Vrbnik on Krk (we will gladly advise you on the many local delicacies).
Please help yourselves to fresh herbs and vegetables from our little garden.

Getting here:

By car (bus), Omisalj is the first town after crossing the bridge onto Krk. Parking is available behind the house. Alternatively, if you are flying into Rijeka (airport is actually on Krk), please let us know when you are landing and we will come pick you up.

    “Wir empfehlen das ruhige Haus auf jeden Fall weiter. Kleiner Ortskern mit allen wichtigen Einrichtungen vorhanden. Allerdings Hundestrand nicht im Ort. Positiv: Sehr schönes ruhiges Haus, mit viel Platz. Besonders waren die bodentiefen Fenster im EG. Sehr freundliche Vermieter und zuvorkommend. In 500 Metern ist gleich der kleine Ortskern zu erreichen. Wir konnten schon vor 16 Uhr ins Haus, da am Vortag keine Gäste da waren. Super Waschmaschine vorhanden. Negativ: Ein Sichtschutz bei der Eingangstür (z.B. Rolle) wäre für Abends auch besser, da jeder rein schauen kann. Restaurant: Konoba Ulikva - Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Ich empfehle besonders die einheimischen Kalmare. Ausflüge: Biserujka špilja - Schöne Stalagmiten und -titen zu sehen. Interessante Geschichte dazu. Ein paar Meter davon entfernt hat man eine super Aussicht über einen Teil der Insel.”

    “Für vier Personen absolut passent, für sechs wäre es mir persönlich zu eng
    Das Grundstück ist liebevoll angelegt und auch unsere Fellnase hat sich sofort zu Hause gefühlt
    Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen Positiv: Das Ferienhaus ist mit sehr viel Liebe restauriert worden. Schon beim betreten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
    Herr Ceko und seine Frau sind reizente Menschen und helfen wo sie können.
    Das sie auf dem selben Grundstück wohnen ist absolut nicht störend.
    Wir werden auf jeden Fall das Haus nochmals mieten”

    “Soweit sind wir zufrieden gewesen. Positiv: Außergewöhnliches Objekt, sehr ruhige Lage. Negativ: Das die Gartennutzung gemeinsam mit dem Vermieter genutzt wird. Restaurant: Kastel - Sehr gutes Essen, von Salat bis Pizza bis zu Steak und einheimisches Essen. Ausflüge: Malinska - Sehr schön zum schlendern.”

    “Positiv: Die Ruhe in Omišalj kleines verschlafendes Dörfchen. Die Ruhe im und am Ferienhaus , nette Vermieter kommen sehr gerne wieder. Restaurant: Villa Eva - Nettes Personal und mega lecker das Essen dort. Schön am Wasser kann man sitzen und seine Mahlzeit oder Getränk zu sich nehmen. Ausflüge: Fulfinum Mirine - Historische Sehenswürdigkeit sollte man wenn man in Omišalj ist gesehen haben”
