Kultur-Interessierte kommen in der nahe gelegenen Stadt Kassel auf Ihre Kosten. Neben dem UNESCO Weltkulturerbe Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe rund um das Kasseler Wahrzeichen, dem Herkules, ist auch die regelmäßig stattfindende Kunstausstellung, die Documenta, ebenso wie Kassels Museen, immer einen Ausflug wert.
