A tiny village above the valley
Nestled on the hillside, in the hollow of a small wooded cirque, the small village of Fraissines offers you its calm and tranquility. The village overlooks the Tarn valley, 300m below, ideal for all outdoor activities: fishing, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking or donkey riding.
Fishing enthusiasts will find various streams tumbling down the plateaus towards the Tarn, to catch trout, pike, zander, etc.
For hikers, they will be able to discover the new GR® 736 whose route passes in front of the lodge. A 300 kilometer route which connects Mont Lozère to Albi, with the Tarn river as a common thread.
Your children will appreciate the nearby Trébas leisure center, allowing swimming in the Tarn (supervised swimming), and many other activities. 20 minutes away, the Ambialet peninsula offers a breathtaking view of the Albigensian plateaus and the Ségala hills. A little further, set off to discover the region's major tourist sites, such as the Millau Viaduct, the Grands Causses Natural Park, and the Episcopal City of Albi, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
**THE COTTAGE**
Spacious house in the small, peaceful village of Fraissines, ideal for accommodating groups or several families, with a capacity of 12 people. Gîte upstairs, access via an external staircase from the courtyard.
Ground floor: large living room with a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, extractor hood, fridge and freezer, washing machine, electric coffee maker, etc.). On the same landing, toilets.
Upstairs: 4 bedrooms, small lounge area on the landing, 2 shower rooms, toilet. One bedroom for 4 people (2 double beds 140), two bedrooms for 3 people (1 double bed 140 + 1 single bed 90), the last bedroom accommodates 2 people (1 double bed 140).
A terrace adjoining the kitchen with arbor and garden furniture is located on the village side. An outdoor barbecue, courtyard side. For your leisure: a ping-pong table, 3 children's bikes and other games.
Electric heating, fireplace (wood offered).
Possibility to rent sheets and towels + end-of-stay cleaning service.
