Treat yourself to a stone break at the crossroads of hiking trails.

Castelnau-de-Montmail is the starting point for many hikes, an ideal strategic point to visit the gaillacois wine estates and above all, classified Most Beautiful Village of France. Here you are halfway between the Episcopal City of Ali and its famous Saint Cecilia Cathedral; and halfway to the perched village of Cordes-sur-Ciel. No need to choose between the two, take the time to visit these two magnificent cities. Remember to stop in Gaillac and its vineyard, meet its winemakers for an aperitif-concert on a summer evening . 

If you don’t want to take the car, don’t worry! Many hiking trails surround you. Notably the famous GR de Pays de Castelnau-de-Montmail in Penne, via Cordes of course. 

THE GITE: 

Stay in a stone house on one level, adjoining the owners, but promised, they are discreet. Access to the cottage through the common garden of the owners. A first private terrace overlooking the pool on one side of the cottage, and a second private shaded terrace with garden furniture on the other side of the cottage with private plancha.

- Living room with a fully equipped kitchen open to the dining table. Sitting area with sofa bed for 2 additional people, 4k TV and stereo. Kitchen equipment: oven, fridge, freezer, filter coffee maker and Dolce Gusto, toaster, kettle, sodastream, mirco-wave, robot cook, dishwasher.

- Bedroom 1 of 22m² with bed 160x200cm, and private bathroom: hydromassage shower, basin and toilet.

- Bedroom 2 of 16m² with bed 140x190cm and private bathroom: shower, basin and toilet. Access to this room is through the outside of the cottage.

- Private laundry room with washing machine and dryer available.

Heated swimming pool to share with the owners (ask about opening dates with them). Direct access from the cottage. Dimensions: 9 x 4.5m by 1.50 depth. Roller shutter for children’s safety. You can enjoy all the outdoors shared with the owners as well as their labrador also present. You will also have the possibility to use the table tennis, or hammocks.
