Gijou flows peacefully through the charming villages of Gijounet, Viane and Lacaze

A minute by car (or 20min walk for the most daring!), village of Viane with all shops and services with grocery, café restaurant, pizzeria, pharmacy... In the valley, charming mountain villages of Gijounet and Lacaze, and green resort of Lacaune (casino, Spaces of Hot Springs, cross-country skiing according to snow conditions).

THE COTTAGE is independent and on one level, near the house of the owners. On one side of the cottage, you enjoy a sunny terrace on the front courtyard, and on the other side, at the back of the cottage, you have a private grassed garden.

You can ditch right in front of the cottage. Common courtyard to share with the owners, as well as 2 chickens, 1 cat and of course, the 3 donkeys of the property that just want to be caressed!

Descending from the Lacaune Mountains, Gijou was able to stay wild, digging its bed in a wooded region of medium mountain, mixing deep valleys and deep forests, homeland of chestnut trees and ceps in autumn.

At an altitude of 550m, La Rabaudié is a haven of peace, small nest for two ideal to recharge your batteries or practice gentle activities such as hiking, fishing (Lac de la Rabaudié 300m from the lodge, otherwise, stream 100m for category 1 fishing) or send the bike with the green lane located 1km from the cottage (need to repair for bikes available if needed). With the seasons, you can enjoy the serenity and the wild aspect of the valley
