This charming villa is located in a small rural village called Viinada, near Pore. The villa is located on a hill with beautiful panoramic views of romantic hills and small medieval towns, which you can enjoy from one of the terraces. The villa can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms with double beds. On the ground floor of the villa you enter an open-plan living room with a fully equipped kitchen and large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. On the ground floor there is also one of the bedrooms with its own bathroom. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a spacious terrace with chairs, couch and small table. From the living room you enter the pool terrace with sun loungers. To the side is a veranda with a covered dining table for nice summer days, where you can dine outside and enjoy the fresh breeze and view. If you prefer to dine indoors, there is a dining table for 6 people in the living room. The kitchen doesn't take up much space, but you'll find everything you need - coffee machine, fridge, toaster, blender, induction hob, dishwasher. In front of the veranda and the pool terrace on the ground floor is a small, fully enclosed garden surrounded by rosemary bushes and two symbolic olive trees. The shaded and enclosed car park can accommodate up to 2 cars, and in Viinada you will find one of the most beautiful views in Istria. On the slopes of the hill of St Thomas, you will have beautiful views of indigenous vineyards growing on rich land and charming hills. Be sure to try Malvasia, the most important white variety in Istria, or Teran, a typical black variety in the region.
Viinada is a true cycling oasis at any time of year, and cycling trails allow you to discover the beauty of nature. In September, you can also take part in the Parenzana Recreational Cycling Marathon, and Viinada is the final stop of the competition.
As you stroll through the streets of Viinada in August, you will be seduced by the aromas of homemade cakes from the traditional Sweet Istria event. In this event, the hosts prepare traditional Istrian desserts according to old recipes. While the expert jury evaluates the desserts, visitors can savour them.
You can also visit the picturesque coastal town of Pore, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just a 20-minute drive from Viinada.
