This is a charming and independent villa that is clearly very loved by its owners, Dolores and Sebastian. Once you get here, you will agree that this is not "just another holiday villa". Both the inside and the outside are well maintained and meant for long term living, creating a very comfortable ambience that includes air conditioning and WiFi internet. The beaches of Nerja and the shops in Frigiliana are a convenient 5-10 minute drive away.
Location and outside area
Set amidst avocado and olive groves, the villa nestles on a hilltop in the countryside west of Frigiliana (3 km), offering impressive views on the whitewashed village and far reaching views out to the Mediterranean. The villa is accessed by a concrete track that leads through the lush and green landscape. Frigiliana is an adorable village of narrow, cobbled streets, small squares, and typical Andalusian houses with colourful flowers. The village offers a good selection of shops, tapa bars, and good restaurants. The famous beaches of Nerja are 7 km away.
The villa offers several outside seating areas on 2 levels. On the ground floor level, you can just stroll out the kitchen to a lovely patio corner with a barbecue and dining amenities for 6, a perfect setting to enjoy your alfresco meals or to read a book in the shade. On a lower level, you will find a spacious sun-terrace surrounding the private pool (7x4 m). The garden area includes a small lawn with a fish pond and a little garden house for children. Sun loungers are provided.
Inside and lay-out
The dedication of the owners to the outside areas of this villa is also reflected in its interior. With the rooms divided over 2 floors, this it is a very comfortable spacious villa. The furniture and the decoration are of excellent quality and have been chosen with an eye for detail, creating a homy feeling.
Ground floor:
The living room has been decorated in a classical Spanish style with high ceilings and typical floor tiles. There is very comfortable seating and the open fireplace will warm up the villa on the cooler days in off-season, whilst the air conditioning will be a welcomed feature on the hotter days. Further amenities such as central heating, TV, and DVD player are available.
The spacious kitchen/dining room gives access to the living room on one side and to the outside patio on the other. The kitchen's decoration uses wood and Andalusian tiling and is well equipped with a vitro hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The washing machine, iron, and ironing board are in a utility room. On this floor you will also find a shower room with WC and sauna.
First floor:
The master bedroom has a double bed and is particularly tastefully decorated with a beamed ceiling and a beautifully tiled ensuite bathroom with an over bath shower, single basin, WC, and bidet. The other 2 bedrooms are twins and share a full shower room.
