Our holiday home is at an altitude of 1250 meters in the agricultural zone, next to a farm with cows. The near or distant surroundings are very suitable for walks on easy trails in the mountains. Braunwald is car-free; without noise and too much artificial lights Activities in winter; Skiing and sledding. Chair lifts up to 1900 meters (also in summer). Activities in summer: hiking. Rockclimbing. Paragliding. Mountain bike trails to Urnerboden - Klausenpass or to Oberblegisee, Walensee and Klöntalersee - Pragelpass. The close environment around the holiday home is also ideal with children; (Playing, sledding in the snow). small streams and family fire places as well as playgrounds in the magic forest etc. In house can be heated and cooked with wood. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The 200-year-old part of the house has rustic, low rooms (170-180cm). The other part of the house has normal room heights. The water comes directly from best mountain sources. Other leisure facilities: Urnerboden; cross-country skiing and dog-sleding. Excursion possibilities: Urnerboden, Klausenpass, Elm, Klöntalersee, Pragelpass, Muotathaler Hölloch, Walensee.Several mountain huts and guesthouses in the counties of Glarus a Uri.
