One can either swim in one of the rocky beaches close by or else at the sandy beach of St Georges Bay which is just a few meters away from the apartment. Other sandy beaches like Mellieha Bay, Golden Bay, Paradise Bay, Gnejna Bay are easily reached by bus. From a jetty in Sliema you can take ferries or day cruises to the other smaller islands of the Maltese archipelago, like Gozo and Comino. The apartment is also very close to the supermarket and the town of Sliema. In Sliema there are the best fashion outlets and ferries and one day cruise boats to the famous Blue Lagoon and to other hot sandy beaches and small islands in the Maltese archipelago.
