Property no. 853603
Holiday apartment for max. 4 persons
Braunlage-Hohegeiß, Harz Mountains, (Harz in Lower Saxony), Germany
Holiday apartment of a high standard, with a balcony, in a quiet location
It is not only on the eve of 1st May that there is a lot going on at Hexentanzplatz, no doubt the most well-known place in the Harz region after the Brocjen, near Thale. Witches, the witches’ dance and Walpurgis Night – the Harz region is steeped in myth. The apartment is not far from the centre of Hohegeiß, but nevertheless in an absolutely quiet location, close to hiking trails, the Kurpark, the forest, cross-country skiing trails and a skiing and sledging lift. Braunlage with its skiing and hiking area by Wurmberg is about 8km away.
This is a holiday apartment of a high standard for the Harz region. It was renovated and completely newly designed in spring 2014 and provides a generous 70m² of space. You can enjoy a relaxing, pleasant and unforgettable holiday in the apartment. The superior apartment has a living room of around 35m² with a sofa bed (140 x 200cm), a 14m² bedroom with a double bed and an 11m² kitchen. The bathroom, with daylight, is fitted with a bath so you can relax for example after a hike. The apartment is fully-equipped and furnished.
There is a balcony with garden furniture.
Hohegeiß is part of Braunlage and at 642 metres above sea level it is the highest state-recognised climatic spa town in the Harz region. The climate in this area is especially beneficial for allergy sufferers. Owing to its altitude, Hohegeiß is one of the Harz resorts with the most reliable snow conditions. In winter cross-country skiing trails, various hiking paths and skiing and sledging facilities start right on the doorstep (ski centre Hohegeiß and Panoramic Hotel). You can also experience floodlit sledging by the Panoramic Hotel on a piste 250 metres long. Skiing is a major activity in Braunlage and Hohegeiß. A new ski resort – Hexenritt – went into operation with new lifts at Wurmberg/Braunlage during the winter season 2013/2014, which means that Braunlage at Wumberg boasts the largest and most modern ski resort in northern Germany. In spring, summer and autumn you can go on lovely trips and hikes throughout the Harz region from Hohegeiß.
