This beautiful and well-maintained vacation home in the picturesque province of Friesland awaits you in a welcoming vacation park. In the living room and on the terrace you have a beautiful view over meadows. After an active day in the beautiful surroundings, you can relax with your family and friends by the wood stove in the living room. So you don't have to miss your favorite shows on vacation, you can watch Netflix in the house. The open kitchen is connected to the living room. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. The vacation park offers as facilities an outdoor pool with separate children's pool, cafeteria, playground, table tennis, tennis court and volleyball court. At the reception you can rent bicycles. The immediate vicinity of this vacation home has much to offer. Visit the Wadden Sea, where you can take mudflat walks and enjoy a unique nature. By bike or on foot you can walk along the dike towards Harlingen, on one side the view goes to the Wadden Sea and on the other to the typical terps with authentic farms. The beautiful harbor town of Harlingen is only 14 km away. Here you will find a beach and many stores, but you can also admire the town hall, the lighthouse and the Zuiderhaven marina. From Harlingen, the ferry goes to the Wadden Islands of Vlieland and Terschelling, which are definitely worth a visit. Only 5 km from the vacation home is the town of Franeker, known from the Eleven Cities Tour. Make a visit here to the old town and the planetarium. Only 22 km from the vacation home is Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland. On cooler days you can visit the indoor playground Aeolus with your children. This playground is only 5 km away and offers a variety of activities. There is especially much to discover in the glass pyramid. The vacation home is located about 7 km from the indoor swimming pool Bloemketerp in Franeker. In March 2019, a complete wellness area was realized in this vacation home. Enjoy the spacious Finnish sauna for 5 people and the whirlpool for 6 people. The wellness area is enclosed by a partition wall, which gives you plenty of privacy. After visiting the Finnish sauna, you can simply take a shower under the outdoor shower. 2 pets are welcome in the cottage. The garden is completely fenced, so this vacation home is very pet-friendly.
