Mas Pinell is a small, quiet residential area right on the beach of Pals, in the northern part of the Costa Brava, between Begur and L'Estartit. It lies in the plain of the Ter estuary and is surrounded by nature reserves.

Mas Pinell is the ideal place for families and nature lovers and, in addition to the wide and mostly quiet beaches, also offers ideal opportunities for trips to medieval villages in the immediate vicinity, picturesque fishing villages and cycling tours through the plains.
Excursion destinations in the area:
Torroella de Montgrí, approx. 8 km from Mas Pinell, has a pretty center, is relatively untouristic and offers many shops - groceries, but also other things.
Montgri Castle is definitely worth a climb - preferably at sunrise.
Pals, Peratallada and Ullastret are just a few of the many beautiful medieval villages in the Ter river plain, the direct hinterland of Mas Pinell.
From L’Estartit you can explore the Islas Medas and the cliffs with a glass-bottom boat. Or you dive and / or snorkel yourself, which is of course much more impressive!
Begur is a lively, pretty village with some great views of the coast and the hinterland, where it is worth a little stroll.
Calella de Palafrugell, Tamariu and Sa Tuna are very beautiful fishing villages in the south of Mas Pinell.
Mostly framed by wonderful calas (rocky bays) for swimming and snorkeling.
A further distance away are of course the Cap de Creus (Cadaques), Figueres (Dalí Museum) and Girona (with a beautiful center by the river) as worthwhile excursion destinations.
